It might seem strange to learn that a country that is able to offer a beach trip all year around can also offer snowboarding and skiing even if in this case it is only from December to February. Unlike a lot of resorts there is no need to be an expert to take part and enjoy the day as there is plenty for intermediates and beginners to do.
Regardless of whether you enjoy the relative peace and tranquillity of skiing or the more rushed and frenzied snowboarding, you will be catered for.
Everything that you need to get you out on the slopes will be provided, other than your ski clothes. For the three hour activity, you will be given boots, a snow board or skies and a ski pass. While this can be a competitive sport, it is more likely than not that you will want to concentrate on the view not being the fastest down the slope. You don’t have to worry about getting there as a guide is provided and you will be collected from your hotel and returned after the event. To help you warm up and unwind once you have finished, there is a glass of Gluhwein provided.
