Rafting
While there is a lot to doing Riga it is nice to get out of the city for a while and see a little of the countryside. This is an activity that is not going to take all of your energy, as the lazy rafting experience, is exactly what is says – lazy. No need to hurry along as the trip lasts for 3 hours and there is plenty of time to cruise along the Gauja River.
As you would expect, the raft and all the safety equipment required will be provided and this includes a life vest. You will be picked up from your hotel, taking to the meeting point, and then when it has finished brought back to your accommodation.
All instructions will be given before the cruise starts, but there is always the chance that someone will not take notice of what they are told and lean a little too far over and find themselves in the water. Bring some dry clothes just in case as it can be an embarrassing and squelchy trip back otherwise.
